The Medina River: A Hidden Gem of Texas

The Medina River: A Hidden Gem of Texas

The Medina River, An Exceptional Hidden Texas Gem Experience

Often times when people book vacations they get caught up in the “must see” attractions. Unfortunately, many of those “must see” attractions are extremely busy, hard to see, include long waits and can lead to stressful experiences. Road and Table specializes in searching for the hidden gems. Along with recommending “must see” attractions, Road and Table always includes hidden gems to give our clients special one of a kind travel experiences. The Medina river is a hidden gem of Texas with it’s crystal clear waters and bald cypress trees that line the river banks.

The Medina River

An exciting way to experience the river is by kayaking or tubing. The Medina River Company is a great choice if you are looking to kayak or rent tubes. They provide a shuttle to and from the river, along with extremely friendly service. We were very pleased with our experience.

The Medina River

Our trip to the Medina river is one of my favorite family travel memories. We had such a great time paddling down the river, laughing, swimming and making some of the best memories. The morning of our Medina river adventure we woke up to cloudy skies and some rain showers. Although, we were disappointed at first, we didn’t let it ruin our plans. It’s Texas after all and it’s hot, so we went anyway. I’m glad we did. By the time we got to the river and got in our kayaks, the clouds broke up and the sun began to shine. We ended up having the river to ourselves. It was pure perfection. Check out my post on what to do when it rains on your vacation!

Here’s some information to make your experience on the Medina River the best it can be.
