4 Awesome Spots For New York City Dumplings

One of my favorite things about New York City is the FOOD! On our last trip we decide to create our own “dumpling tour”! We found four awesome spots in New York City for the best dumplings.

New York City dumplings did’t disappoint!

Destination Dumplings

We found Destination Dumplings at the World Trade Center. Be sure to check out their website for other locations. We ordered the pork and peking duck dumplings. I have to say I think Destination Dumplings was my favorite. I could have gone back for more!

Address: Fulton Ave next to The World Center every Friday through October.

Shanghai 21

Ok, Shanghai 21 was really just as good as Destination Dumplings. It was nice to be able to go into a restaurant and sit down to eat. The restaurant was small and it was packed at lunch time but well worth the wait. We ordered pork fried dumplings, pork tiny buns, and shrimp dumplings.

Address: 21 Mott St, New York NY, 10013

Fried Dumpling

The Fried Dumpling is a small unassuming spot and to be honest the women making the dumplings is pretty rude. She gets right down to business and whips you out some delish dumplings though! She is pretty well known. It’s a must try!

Address: 106 Mosco St. New York, NY 10013

Nansense

Nansense

While you might think of dumplings as asian cuisine, be sure not to limit yourself to that. I had never tried Mantu (beef and onion Dumplings with garlic yogurt, split chickpeas, dried mint and cilantro) and while strolling through all the food tents at the World Trade Center we came across Nansense and noticed they offered a dumpling. It was something different and absolutely delicious! Be sure to think outside the box and try something new!

Address: Fulton Ave next to The World Center every Friday through October.
